How voting works
- Voting is free. No purchase or contribution is required, and contributing money does not give anyone extra votes.
- One vote per browser per poll, with rate limiting and server-side checks. This deters casual repeat voting — it is not a guarantee of uniqueness, and we do not claim it is.
- No account, name, email address, phone number, or identifying profile information is required to vote. Duplicate-vote protection does use a first-party cookie and a keyed hash derived from your IP address — the privacy policy sets out exactly what that means and how long it is kept.
- The poll result is a strong signal, not a binding instruction — availability, cost and safety still decide where a trip actually happens.
