Stay Fund

Supports Alaizyah Stays travel, stays and the content they produce.
The Stay Fund supports Alaizyah Stays travel, hotel stays, reviews, videos and related content expenses. This may include lodging, transportation, parking, resort or destination fees, equipment, production expenses and other reasonable costs related to creating Alaizyah Stays content.
What the Stay Fund pays for
- hotel rooms and other lodging
- transportation
- parking
- resort and destination fees
- meals or activities related to a stay or to content
- cameras, microphones and lighting
- other recording equipment
- editing and production expenses
- software and services used to create content
- other reasonable Alaizyah Stays content expenses
Stay Fund money is reserved for Alaizyah Stays travel and content expenses. Expenses for the hotel ownership and acquisition project are paid from the separate Hotel Fund.
Unused money remains in the Stay Fund and carries forward to future stays and content. It never transfers to the Hotel Fund.

Supports the long-term hotel ownership and acquisition project.
The Hotel Fund is reserved for the hotel ownership project and may be used for any legitimate expense involved in finding, evaluating, acquiring, financing, renovating, furnishing, preparing or opening a hotel property.
What the Hotel Fund is reserved for
- purchase price
- earnest money and deposits
- inspections, appraisals and surveys
- environmental reports and other due diligence
- legal and accounting expenses
- consultants and broker expenses
- title and closing expenses
- taxes and fees connected to an acquisition
- franchise-related expenses
- financing expenses
- renovation and repairs
- furniture, fixtures and equipment for the property
- permits
- pre-opening, launch and opening costs
Hotel Fund money is reserved for expenses related to the hotel ownership and acquisition project. Alaizyah Stays travel and content expenses are paid from the separate Stay Fund.
Money never moves between the two funds. The database itself refuses to move a transaction from one to the other.
Some expenses — inspections, appraisals, professional advice or other due diligence — may be incurred on a property that is ultimately not purchased. That is a normal and legitimate cost of the hotel project. It is included in the Hotel Fund totals like every other transaction and is itemized in the public ledger when the entry is marked public.
