What is the difference between the Stay Fund and the Hotel Fund?
The Stay Fund: The Stay Fund supports Alaizyah Stays travel, hotel stays, reviews, videos and related content expenses. This may include lodging, transportation, parking, resort or destination fees, equipment, production expenses and other reasonable costs related to creating Alaizyah Stays content. Unused money remains in the Stay Fund and carries forward to future stays and content. It never transfers to the Hotel Fund.
The Hotel Fund: The Hotel Fund is reserved for the hotel ownership project and may be used for any legitimate expense involved in finding, evaluating, acquiring, financing, renovating, furnishing, preparing or opening a hotel property. Hotel Fund money is reserved for expenses related to the hotel ownership and acquisition project. Alaizyah Stays travel and content expenses are paid from the separate Stay Fund.
They have completely separate ledgers and money is never moved between them — the database itself refuses to move a transaction from one fund to the other.
Does the Stay Fund cover cameras, editing and other content costs?
Yes — the stays and the content that comes out of them are both in scope. The Stay Fund supports Alaizyah Stays travel, hotel stays, reviews, videos and related content expenses. This may include lodging, transportation, parking, resort or destination fees, equipment, production expenses and other reasonable costs related to creating Alaizyah Stays content. Stay Fund money is reserved for Alaizyah Stays travel and content expenses. Expenses for the hotel ownership and acquisition project are paid from the separate Hotel Fund.
Could Hotel Fund money be spent on a hotel that never gets bought?
Yes, and it is worth being plain about it. Some expenses — inspections, appraisals, professional advice or other due diligence — may be incurred on a property that is ultimately not purchased. That is a normal and legitimate cost of the hotel project. It is included in the Hotel Fund totals like every other transaction and is itemized in the public ledger when the entry is marked public. The fund is reserved for the hotel project, which includes the work of deciding a particular building is the wrong one — not only for expenses on a purchase that completes.
What happens to Stay Fund money that is not spent?
Unused money remains in the Stay Fund and carries forward to future stays and content. It never transfers to the Hotel Fund. There is no deadline to spend it and no sweep at the end of a year. Stay Fund money is reserved for Alaizyah Stays travel and content expenses. Expenses for the hotel ownership and acquisition project are paid from the separate Hotel Fund.
Do supporters get anything in return?
No. Supporting is voluntary and conveys no ownership interest, no repayment, no profit participation and no financial return of any kind. It also does not grant extra votes. See the disclosures page.
Is this a charity? Is my support tax-deductible?
No. Alaizyah Stays is not a charitable organization and is not represented as one, and contributions are not represented as tax-deductible charitable donations. Nothing here is tax advice — ask your own adviser about your own situation.
Does contributing money get me more votes?
Voting is free. No purchase or contribution is required, and contributing money does not give anyone extra votes.
How do you stop people voting over and over?
One vote per browser per poll, with rate limiting and server-side checks. This deters casual repeat voting — it is not a guarantee of uniqueness, and we do not claim it is.
Why can I not see where she is staying right now?
Because she is 13. A stay is not published until after departure, and even then the location stays hidden until an adult administrator separately clears it. There is no live location, no itinerary and never a room number anywhere on this site.
Can I message Alaizyah?
No, and that is deliberate. There is no direct messaging, no comment section and no contact form. Business inquiries go to an adult-managed inbox on the contact page.
How are the fund numbers produced?
Support arrives through external services, and entries are recorded by hand as they are reconciled. Everything is stored to the cent as whole numbers, corrections are posted as reversing entries rather than edits, and every change is written to an append-only audit log.
Can I pay by card on this site?
No. This site does not collect or store card details at all. Every support option hands off to an external service. That may change later, and if it does, it will be disclosed.
